Join the first Islamic Gender Justice Declaration
In 2018, multiple consultations were held with internal and external stakeholders. These included conversations with Islamic Relief’s global family and presenting a draft Declaration to key stakeholders including INGOs, CSOs, UN agencies, religious scholars, academics and leaders, Muslim representative bodies and youth organisations.
These conversations defined the six core themes of the Declaration: Economic Justice, Justice and Equity in the Family, Civil, Political and Digital Rights, Equal Access to Education, Protection and Health and Transformative Leadership.
